The story of SL Durian Villa began when the owner, Mr Ong bought a durian orchard at the small town of Raub. He transformed it into an orchard villa and made it a vacation home for himself and his family. Mr Ong would invite some of his close friends to come over occasionally and by word of mouth, there has been a growing interest in his durian villa. People even started sending in requests so that they could spend a day or two here. After being persuaded that this beautiful place should not only be kept to himself, he finally decided to open it to the public.
